I'm having problems with my tv recieving sound from my ps3. I am using and hdmi/dvi cable from ps3 to my hdtv - dvi tv to hdmi reciever
I have video but no sound. I connected the PS3 to my plasma via HDMI and I have two. I tried the composite red / yellow / white cable that comes with the PS3 to my TV and use the 3 different input sources without sound.
Should I buy aa / v like passing between them?

Make sure the settings of the PS3 to your sound output through the HDMI cable, because they do for video.
